 GUEST QUARTERS

Getting to Hillspeak

Eureka Springs is accessible on U.S. 62 (East-West) from Rogers or Harrison or on State Highway 23 (North-South) from Ozark or Missouri.  All roads to Eureka Springs are scenic (translated: winding and hilly with awe-inspiring vistas).  Our campus is located about 4 miles south of the intersection of U.S. 62 and SH 23 in Eureka Springs. From Eureka Springs, take SH 23 south to County Road 102 (there is a green Hillspeak sign), turn right and follow the road up Grindstone Mountain for about .9 miles to the Twin Barns.

Our guest quarters all have heat and air conditioning as well as fully equipped kitchens.  These photos, many provided by Michael Schlaack of Stevensville, Michigan, communicant at St. Paul's, in St. Joseph, MI and Hillspeak visitor, give a glimpse of life on Grindstone Mountain.

The Calf Barn has a Loft and a lower unit.

The Loft

The Loft has a spacious sitting and dining area.  The sofa makes into a double bed.

MISS VINNIE'S COTTAGE

VINNIE'S COTTAGE

Miss Vinnie's Cottage is on two levels - the living area a few steps up from the kitchen and doorways.  Adjacent the Old Residence and The Farm House, it provides cozy quarters with its small kitchen, bedroom-sitting area, and small  single bed cove.

We can accommodate guests in comfort year round, weather permitting.   While, like most of the ministries of Hillspeak, guest quarter stays are on a by-donation basis, please note that it costs about $25/day for maintenance and utilities.  Local inns typically charge from $40 up for guests.  Do not let financial restrictions keep you from visiting but please be as generous as you can when staying overnight.  Any gift beyond the minimal supports the mission and ministry of Hillspeak throughout the world.

All are welcome – a call to 479-253-9701, weekdays 9-5 Central, will determine availability and get reservations.
